Others make us stop and ask, “Wait…what does that actually mean?” MIMS — Making It Make Sense is a space for those questions.

MIMS is not about forcing easy answers onto complicated Scripture. It is about slowing down, thinking carefully, and making room for faith, reason, curiosity, and honest questions.

We’ll also explore one of the defining questions of our time: What happens when Christianity meets artificial intelligence (AI)? From wisdom and discernment to identity, creativity, work, truth, and human purpose, AI is raising questions that Christians should be prepared to thoughtfully engage.

You do not have to check your brain at the door to have faith.
Sometimes understanding begins with simply being willing to ask the question.

Welcome to MIMS. Let’s make it make sense.

QueenQuanta: MIMS - Make It Make Sense

Dr. CM Williams, M.D.

en

q4cd@substack.com
<itunes:owner><itunes:email>q4cd@substack.com</itunes:email><itunes:name>C.M. But knowing the words by heart is not the same as understanding them in my heart.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Familiar words—but growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, shepherding sheep was far removed from my everyday life.

What helped me connect? Thinking about a baby’s dependence on a loving caregiver for nourishment, protection, comfort, and guidance. That familiar picture helped me appreciate the care described in this verse.

Subscribe now

And here is what challenged me: I have not outgrown my need for the Shepherd. Education, military service, motherhood, and becoming a physician have not changed that.

“I shall not want” speaks to trusting God’s provision, rather than receiving everything I desire.

In the video above, I explore these connections and what they mean for everyday faith.
